Chinese Herb Supplier FAQ: Sourcing, Testing and OEM

This Chinese herb supplier FAQ answers common questions from importers, distributors and OEM brands about Chinese herbs, testing, COA, samples, private label, packing, certifications and export orders.

Products and Sourcing

Aile Herb supplies Chinese herbal slices, TCM decoction pieces, bulk Chinese herbs and herbal raw materials, plus OEM formats such as tea bags, tea-in-cup and postbiotic drinks. See the full range on the products page.

Herbs are sourced according to product and order requirements, including materials from recognized growing regions across Gansu, Hebei, Liaoning, Anhui, Zhejiang, Sichuan and Guangdong. Final origin information is confirmed per SKU and batch.

Yes. The botanical name and species can be provided per SKU so buyers can confirm identity for their records and their own market requirements. Raise the SKU list in your inquiry.

Yes. Herbal slices and decoction pieces can be supplied in bulk with non-branded export packing. See bulk packaging for packing formats, and custom cutting if you need a specific cut size.

Yes. Sulfur-free processing is available for applicable herbal slices, and every confirmed sulfur-free batch is tested for sulfur dioxide before release.

Quality Control, Testing and COA

Quality is managed across incoming materials, in-process checks and finished-product review before shipment. The full process is on the quality control process page.

Yes. Every outgoing Chinese herbal batch is tested before release. The applicable pesticide-residue, heavy-metal and other release results are recorded in the batch-specific COA.

Yes. Every outgoing Chinese herbal batch is issued with its own Certificate of Analysis linked to the corresponding production lot.

Batch coding links each lot to its records and shipment documents, so batch IDs can be traced from production through to the packing list. Confirm the traceability records you need during review.

Yes. Aile Herb supports third-party inspection, such as SGS, for buyers who require it, alongside in-house lab results. Confirm the inspection and report scope in your inquiry.

OEM and Private Label Services

Aile Herb offers OEM and private label for herbal slices, tea bags, tea-in-cup and postbiotic drinks. Each has its own page: OEM herbal slices, OEM tea bags, OEM tea-in-cup and OEM postbiotic drinks.

Yes. Products can be packed under your own brand with buyer-brand packaging, label and documentation. You select from the available range and confirm the label, format and packing during review.

For tea bags, tea-in-cup and postbiotic drinks, the standard service is private label packing of the available range, which keeps minimum orders lower; custom formula or blend development may be possible at a significantly higher minimum order, handled case by case. Postbiotic drinks can be developed from a reviewed ingredient scope. Herbal slices are cut herbs, so they do not involve formula development.

OEM develops or brands the product into a buyer-brand retail pack. Bulk packaging keeps the product as an existing herb or slice and customizes the export packing — box, carton, loading, labels and packing list — around it.

Samples, Packing and Shipment

Yes. Samples can be prepared for review before bulk production. Sample scope, cost and courier terms are confirmed during the inquiry.

Minimum order depends on the product, format and any customization, so it is confirmed during review rather than fixed here. Share your target products and quantity in your inquiry.

Inner bags, cartons, bulk bags and pallets for bulk orders, and buyer-brand packs for OEM orders. See bulk packaging for export packing formats.

Yes. Pre-shipment inspection can be arranged before goods leave. See pre-shipment inspection for Chinese herbs for how the review step works.
